CERTIFIED AND SKILLED PERSONNEL

All of our personnel are trained in accordance with OSHA requirement 29 CFR 1910.120 and participate in a medical surveillance program. Additional certifications include: State and National well drilling certification, fusion certification, MSHA certification, IGSHPA Geothermal Installer certifications, and licensed blasters.

Zachary R. Nothnagle: President, CWD

Began working for Nothnagle Drilling, Inc. in the summers while he attended the the University at Buffalo. He went to earn a degree in Mechanical Engineering, B.S. in 2009. After graduation he started working for Nothnagle Drilling, Inc. full time. While continuing to work he went on to attend Roberts Wesleyan College and earn a masters in Strategic Leadership, M.S. in 2013. He currently owns and operates Nothnagle Drilling, Inc. responsibility include estimating budgets, scheduling, coordinating projects, business development, and workforce development. IGSPHA certified installer and designer. Member of NGWA, ESWWDA.

Timothy M. Nothnagle: Past President, CWD

With 30+ years of management experience on environmental and construction projects, Timothy M. Nothnagle is responsible for everyday business operations along with coordinating large and small projects. He is involved every step of the way from initial building to the final invoice in order to ensure complete customer satisfaction. He is a member of the following: Society of Explosives Engineers, National Ground Water Association, National Drillers Association, Empire State Water Well Drillers Association, NYS Certified Professional Geologist, IGSHPA certified installer, and Licensed NYS Blaster.

Stephen A. DiLaura: Vice President, Geologist, CWD

A graduate of Alfred University with a degree in Geology, B.S, Stephen A. DiLaura has been with Nothnagle Drilling, Inc. for more than 25 years. He manages environmental and geotechnical projects of all sizes and takes care of the customer at every point during the project, from beginning to end. He is a member of: NYS Certified Professional Geologist, NGWA, and ESWWDA.

James J. Templeton

A graduate of University at Buffalo in 2010 with a B.S. in Civil Engineering. Over 10 years of experience of construction management. He manages all types and sizes of projects from beginning to end ensuring customer satisfaction. Jim has been with Nothnagle Drilling, Inc. since 2020.

Stephen J. Loranty: Senior Driller, CWD

With 30 years of environmental drilling experience, Stephen J. Loranty excels in customer satisfaction and work production due to his familiarity with all of our equipment.

Kevin S. Busch: Senior Driller, CWD

Kevin S. Busch has become a highly qualified operator of soils and air rotary drill rigs from 30 years of environmental drilling experience.

Thomas Mangefrida: Senior Driller, CWD

With 15 years of environmental, geotechnical, and geothermal drilling experience. Thom is skilled in all types of drilling techniques.
